Day1, Saturday: Naples or Surroundings
Arrival and check-in at the hotel (check-in starting at 4:00 pm). Before dinner, meet with our guide. Welcome cocktail and presentation of the tour. Dinner and overnight in Naples or surroundings.
Day 2, Sunday: Naples or Surroundings - Isle of Capri
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure by boat to the island of Capri, a wonderful expression of nature, history, and 1/4 NAPOLI 8 7 REGGIA DI CASERTA POMPEI 3 glamor. We will visit the Villa San Michele. Lunch on your own. In the afternoon we go to the Gardens of Augustus where we will admire the famous Faraglioni and Marina Piccola. Free time then meet back at the pier. Return to the hotel in Naples or surroundings and dinner. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3, Monday: Naples or Environs: Sorento - Pompei
Breakfast at the hotel and departure to Sorrento to visit this charming city. Then we head to Pompeii with a stop in Gragnano to visit a pasta factory. Gragnano is known as “the city of pasta,” specializing in the artisanal production of “Pasta di Gragnano IGP.” Here we will enjoy a lunch/ tasting (3 types of pasta + dessert + 1 glass of red wine and water). In the afternoon we will visit the excavations that have brought back the remains of the ancient city of Pompeii, buried under ash during the eruption of 79 AD. Return to the hotel in Naples or surroundings and dinner.
Day 4, Tuesday: Naples - Salerno or Surroundings
Breakfast at the hotel. Panoramic city tour by coach and visit the historic center of Naples where we will admire the Church of Santa Chiara and its cloister, the Cathedral of San Gennaro, the artisan stores of San Gregorio Armeno, and the historical-monumental areas surrounding the town. Lunch during the excursion and pizza tasting. Then guided walk along Via Toledo admiring the Galleria Umberto I, Piazza Plebiscito, the exterior of the Teatro San Carlo, the Royal Palace, the Medieval Castle of the Anjou, and Piazza del Municipio. Departure to Salerno or surroundings, dinner, and overnight at the hotel
Day 5, Wednesday: Salerno or Surroundings - Positano - Amalfi
Breakfast at the hotel and departure by regular ferry to Positano, one of the most beautiful seaside towns in Italy. Free time (approximated 1 hour) to stroll around before departing by ferry to Amalfi. Enjoy lunch and free time. Departure to Salerno. Return to hotel in Salerno or surroundings and dinner.
In case of adverse weather or sea conditions, operational or preventing the departure of the boat, the tour will be conducted by the coach. In case of the impossibility of mooring in the port of Positano, the tour will be replaced by Vietri sul Mare.
Day 6, Thursday: Salerno or Surroundings - Visit a cheese factory with tasting - Excavations of Paestum
Breakfast at the hotel and departure to Paestum. Visit to the production areas of the “Mozzarella di Bufala Campana” with tasting. Then visit the archaeological excavations of Paestum. Lunch in a restaurant. In the afternoon return to the hotel in Salerno or surroundings and dinner.
Day 7, Friday: Salerno or Surroundings - Royal Palace of Caserta - Naples or Surroundings
Breakfast at the hotel and departure to Caserta for the visit to the majestic Royal Palace and the Vanviteliano Park. Continuation to Naples or surroundings, accommodation at the hotel, and lunch in a restaurant. Afternoon at leisure. Dinner at the hotel in Naples or the surroundings.
Day 8, Saturday: Naples
Breakfast at the hotel and the end of our services.
