DAY 1, Friday: Milan
Arrival in Milan and check-in at the hotel (check-in starts at 4:00 pm). You then meet with your guide for a presentation of the tour.
DAY 2, Saturday: Milan - Portofino- Santa Margherita Ligure - Rapallo - La Spezia
Breakfast at the hotel. We will spend the day discovering the Tigullio Gulf and its main tourist attractions: Portofino, with its elegant harmony and colorful buildings overlooking the sea, and Santa Margherita Ligure, a town famous for its pastel-colored facades and its wonderful alleys. In the afternoon, return by boat to Rapallo, a city rich in testimonies, documents and signs of the past, located in the center of the Gulf of Tigullio. At the end of the visit, transfer to the hotel in La Spezia or surroundings and free time.
DAY 3, Sunday: Cinque Terre From La Spezia
Breakfast at the hotel and departure, by boat or train depending on weather conditions, to Cinque Terre. Over the centuries, the hand of man has shaped territory 7 with terraced crops that descend towards the sea, creating one of the most beautiful and typical landscapes of Liguria. We will visit Manarola, a real urban jewel, with its charming harbor and a handful of houses in pastel shades; Vernazza, considered one of the most beautiful towns in Italy, which keeps intact its long seafaring tradition with its natural amphitheater-shaped harbor stretching out to sea; and finally Monterosso, the westernmost and most populated of the Cinque Terre, located in the center of a small natural gulf, where the old town and the most modern and touristic part of the town meeting. In the afternoon, return to the hotel.
DAY 4, Monday: La Spezia - Pisa - San Gimignano - Florence
Breakfast at the hotel and departure to Pisa, famous all over the world for its Leaning Tower. Free time in Piazza dei Miracoli, where the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Duomo, the Baptistery, and the Monumental Cemetery stand in all their splendor. After Pisa, continue to San Gimignano, a picturesque medieval town known for its imposing medieval towers. Here you can enjoy a pleasant stroll through the cobblestone streets and admire the unique 8 atmosphere of this town. Lunch during the excursion. Finally, we will arrive in Florence in the afternoon, ready to explore it in the following days of our trip. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 5, Tuesday: Florence
Breakfast at the hotel and a walking tour of the historic center with a local guide, an itinerary dedicated to all those who want to know the events and secrets of over 2000 years of Florentine history, from its Roman origins to the fifteenth century: the Old Bridge, the courtyard of the Uffizi Gallery and the wonderful architecture of Brunelleschi’s dome, which dominates the Baptistery. We will discover the important role that Florence has played in the history of architecture and art. Afternoon free for individual activities or, alternatively, ImperaExperience: purchase while booking the regular excursion to the Uffizi or the Accademia. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 6, Wednesday: Florence- Assisi- Rome
Breakfast at the hotel and departure to Assisi, a mystical city known for its spirituality and religious heritage. Assisi is famous for being the birthplace of St. Francis, one of the most important religious figures in history. During our guided tour, we will have the opportunity to explore the streets of Assisi, admire the medieval architecture, and visit the churches and sacred places related to St. Francis and St. Clare. Finally, we will continue our journey to Rome, the “Eternal City”. Rome will be ready to welcome us with all its charm and explore it in detail in the next days of our trip. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 7, Thursday: Classical Rome
Breakfast at the hotel. We will start the visit to the capital of Italy in our coach, with a panoramic tour of the city. We will admire the main points of interest, passing by the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, and the impressive Piazza Venezia. We will get off the bus and meet our expert guide for a walk through the historic center of Rome with stops at the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain (also known as the Water Theater of Rome), the Pantheon (colossal temple of ancient Rome, now the Basilica of Santa Maria ad Martyres) and Piazza Navona with its central fountain, the Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi, a work of the famous sculptor Gian Lorenzo Bernini. Afternoon free for individual activities or, alternatively, ImperaExperience: purchase while booking the guided excursion to the Colosseum or the Vatican Museums. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 8, Friday: Rome
Breakfast at the hotel and the end of our services.
