Situated on the brink of two steep canyons, Luxembourg is among the most geographically dramatic capitals in Europe. When you've had enough of the bustling old city, head to the parks along the shaded River Pétrusse or, for a change of scenery, visit the Portuguese and Italian quarter in the Alzette ravine. In the evening, you can listen to guitars, bands, and choirs at Place d’Armes.
